Drop-in hailed a success

Nearly 100 people came to see us, and our brilliant team of volunteers, at Bursledon Windmill today as we opened the doors briefly for a drop-in event to find out more about our plans to create a sustainable future for the windmill.

It was also a great opportunity for people to register their interest in volunteering and take a quick look at the windmill, an absolute gem that has been at the heart of the community since 1814 and, when operating, is Hampshire's only working windmill.
